Welcome to the
Flourish Federation of Schools
My name is Paula Jones and It is my great pleasure to welcome you to ‘Flourish Federation’. We are a newly formed federation of two wonderful schools: North Elmham CEVA Primary and All Saints CEVA Primary School and Nursery. Both schools have their own distinctive characteristics but share one common goal: to provide the very best for your child/children.
Over the past 15 years I have worked in numerous schools in Norfolk; teaching, mentoring, advising and leading. I love what I do and I have a great deal of determination and energy to lead, manage and improve great schools, like North Elmham and All Saints Stibbard. There is a lot of hard work ahead needed by all of us: children and staff. Yet, I have high expectations of myself and my staff. The children need and deserve the very best we can provide for them and in order for our children to flourish we aim to nourish, with a whole child focus within an inclusive environment.
I have always believed that ‘happy children achieve’ and that is at the very heart of everything we do. On Wonderful Wednesday’s, children celebrate their midweek success with me over afternoon tea and again on hot chocolate/fizzy Fridays.
Successful education involves a close partnership between school and home. We aim to foster and grow positive communication between children, staff and parents through our regular colour/team weeks and class showcase times every term.
I have recently introduced Enrichment Clubs (during the school day) which the children have reacted very positively to. The children not only learn a new skill in a fun and relaxed environment but learn numerous important values of teamwork, resilience and cooperation.
We aim to provide your child with a fun, stimulating and challenging curriculum. We will also be working hard to change and improve our curriculum and ensure there is a good balance of knowledge and key skills taught. Wonderful stories will be at the heart of our knowledge based curriculum and they provide such a rich and varied starting point for so many fun, stimulating learning activities.
The key to a good school is good teaching and we are very fortunate to have a great team of teachers and teaching assistants at both schools who are extremely hard working and talented. Our office staff, M.S.A’s and caretaking team all contribute greatly to the success of both schools.
We aim to get things right and hopefully this is the case most of the time and ensure that you and your children are happy. Myself and the senior leaders in the schools will be working with the new Governing Body to ensure that we achieve our aims for both schools and that every child fulfils their potential. I look forward to meeting you all soon.
